Sustainability in Style: A Conversation on Conscious Living
28.02.25
Last night, we had the pleasure of hosting Sustainability in Style as part of the PayPal Melbourne Fashion Festival Independent Programme. Held at our Richmond showroom, the event was a collaboration between Love It Longer and Jardan, bringing together a panel of industry leaders to explore sustainability in fashion and design.

Guided by award-winning food writer and television presenter Melissa Leong—known for her expertise in storytelling and passion for conscious living and the sartorial—the discussion featured Love It Longer co-founders Mattia Hunter and Giulia Ferrari alongside Jardan Director Nick Garnham. Together, they unpacked what sustainability truly means in their industries, the role of innovation in shaping a circular economy, and how well-made pieces, whether in fashion or furniture, can stand the test of time.

Later, a live runway showcase celebrated the beauty of pre-loved fashion, with each piece available for purchase—highlighting the value of extending the life of great design.

Guests enjoyed thoughtfully curated menu by Kayla La Manna, the talent behind What Would Kayla Cook, with drinks by Alba Wine, Billy’s and Bobbys. Styling on the night was led by Hannah Arceri, with support from National Fashion College students.
