Willa

Chalk

Made using Australian Wool fibres this fabric will add a quirky understated elegance to your home style. This gorgeous texture is created by the addition of a voluminous boucle yarn to the weft in the weaving process. The finer warp and weft yarns contain some nylon filament to strengthen the yarn enabling it to obtain a higher abrasion resistance.  Available in four classic tones that will blend seamlessly into any interior, Willa will add a textural appeal and interest to your Jardan piece. Woven in New Zealand using Australian wool components the composition gives the fabric a natural flame retardancy and resistance to moisture, soiling and compression, paired with the natural breathability of wool makes it a great choice for all climates.

Composition: 97% wool, 3% nylon

Width: 137cm

GSM: 550

Styling Notes

- One of the most robust fabrics in the Jardan Range.

- Minimal surface fuzz may appear like any wool, however due to the fibres construction these are likely to reseed back into the fabric with time.

- Forgiving of staining due to the many colours in the fabrication

- Approved for commercial use.

- Boucle yarn by nature could get caught in clawed rings or pulled by pet claws.

Care

Dry Clean Only

In order to prolong the life of your fabric, we recommend you have it protected by Premium Surface Protection (PSP). Please note that fabric protection methods can vary widely in their effectiveness as well as their environmental impact. The methods and products used by PSP are the only ones endorsed by Jardan. The use of an alternative method would void your fabric warranty. Please use the following form to obtain a quote from PSP directly - https://premiumsurfaceprotection.com.au/jardan/

Direct sunlight may cause colour change and aging of your fabric, for best performance we recommend positioning your furniture out of direct UV light and reflected light sunlight. Rotate cushions regularly where possible so fabric shows even wear and light exposure.

Pilling can occur occasionally as a result of normal daily wear and should not be considered as a fault. Fibre pills can be removed by a battery-operated pilling tool available from most haberdashery stores.

Vacuum fabrics on a weekly basis to remove dust, dirt and any loose feathers.  Treat spills and stains as soon as possible by blotting with a lightly damp cloth to remove as much of the spill as possible, do not scrub fabric as this may cause damage, do not treat with non-recommended chemical cleaners or scrub as this can alter the fabrics appearance. To prolong the life of your upholstery and to treat difficult stains, we recommend cleaning by a specialist fabric cleaner. Please contact PSP directly for details of their services using the link above.

Please note that dye transfer can occur when dye is transferred from an outside source on to upholstery fabric. For example: Unwashed new dark coloured denim or raw indigo garments.

Please Note

Whilst every effort has been made to ensure the colours depicted on our website of materials and products accurately reflect the way they appear in person, Jardan advises that there may be variation between these due to a combination of factors including computer monitor, screen settings and lighting as well as a level of true variation in the products themselves. We work with many natural materials as well as handmade artisan products where a level of variation is to be expected and celebrated. It is therefore recommended that you view products in person prior to ordering where possible, or request swatches and additional information from our sales teams.
